KHST condemns yet again the selective killings taking place in Kashmir, the original homeland of Kashmiri Pandits.
It is very sad to note that today again two teachers were shot dead in a government school, Sh. Makhan Lal Bindroo a KP who decided not to leave Kashmir in 1990, was shot dead at his medical shop yesterday and a Golgappe seller was also killed brutally by terrorists in Srinagar yesterday.
The Kashmiri Pandit community has been targeted time and again by the gun wielding terrorists even after being forcibly evicted from their homeland in 1990. These gruesome murders are yet again an eye opener for the government that the cohabitation of non-Muslims in valley doesn’t suit the agenda of the fundamentalists in the valley despite centre’s assurances.
This targeted daylight murders once again prove the murderous intentions of terrorists and fundamentalist section of locals who openly challenge the government against the return of Kashmiri Pandits with respect and dignity back to valley.
KHST urges the Government of India to take serious note of such brutal killings, not remain silent unlike past and take all necessary measures for the safety and security of all KP’s living in valley. KHST is also very concerned about all the PM package employees living in valley.
KHST’s heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families!
