Shiv Darshan Yatra on Sunday 14th August 2022

Sravan month is ending on 12th August 2022 culminating with Sravan purnimashi. This day is very important for KP’s as we used to carry our annual pilgrimages to various Shiv temples including Amarnath jee yatra in our motherland Kashmir.

KHST strives to create Kashmir out of Kashmir and in this direction on the eve of Sravan purnimashi, we have planned to organise a Shiv darshan yatra and identified one very old and famous Shiv temple which also hosts Rajarajeshwari Mata temple and 16 Joyti lingas in the same premises in a wonderful water body.

This place is about 7 kms from ORR and known as Maheshwaram. This is a picturesque drive from the Srisalem highway, very open place, hush green and very spritual environment. All of you are invited to this Shiv darshan trip on 14th August 2022, Sunday at 10.00 AM onwards there at the temple.

Generally it takes about one hour from any part of Hyderabad and few minutes for those live towards Ramoji, Nacharam and Dilsukh nagar etc.

Once we reach there , we will have Shiv darshan, puja at Matajee ka temple and go around the temple for 16 Joyti lingas. We will organise some Mats from there and will sit back and relax as people continue to join. Will there also have some fruits etc. This will be followed by lunch.

Many of our Biradri members suggested a potluck . This will be followed by a Bhajan mandli, singing Kashmiri leelas, and towards the end even kosur folk songs to make our moments memorable. We will have a cup of tea towards the end, people go around take photos and leave by 4.00 PM.
